Can I rotate different Pure Protein Air Dried proteins?

Yes, but only after you’ve successfully transitioned from your previous feed to Pure Protein Air Dried. Does Pure Protein Air Dried expire?

Pure Protein Air Dried should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, once opened, they should be consumed within 30 days or stored in an airtight container to maintain freshness. If food is transferred from their original bag, make sure the oxygen scavenger is also placed in the new container. This prevents mold from forming on the food.

Questions? We have the answers!

Why Fresh Frozen?

At Full Moon, we’ve set out to feed our dogs the same nourishing ingredients we’d feed ourselves.

Flash freezing allows us to deliver the highest quality ingredients at their peak nutrition in the least processed way. We don’t add any preservatives, so you’re able to conveniently store food longer (up to a year!) and still feel at peace knowing you’re offering a healthy meal, each time.

How is Freshly Crafted™ made?

We take pride in sourcing the meat in our recipes from Perdue Family Farms, where all animals are raised ethically and without use of antibiotics.

Starting in small batches, we gently cook the meat and liver in USDA-compliant facilities, flash freeze, and mix with frozen, raw vegetables. From beginning to end, we uphold the highest standards to be truly human grade.

Our unique individually frozen format allows you to easily scoop as little or as much as you want, or simply pour directly from the bag and serve. Easier for you, better for your dog.

Why is there a 3 bag order minimum?

Freshly Crafted ships frozen with lots of dry ice to keep the food cold in transit and while it waits on your doorstep. It's our responsibility to make quality dog food as accessible as possible and to minimize our carbon footprint from shipping, so we require a minimum of 3 bags per order and encourage ordering a month's worth of food at time.

How do I transition my dog to Freshly Crafted?

Switching to a new food can be challenging for your dog, especially shifting from kibble to fresh. We recommend slowly introducing your dog to Freshly Crafted over a course of a week by following this guidance:

Days 1-2: Introduce with only 25% of the meal.
Days 3-4: Increase to 50% of the meal.
Days 5-6: Increase to 75% of the meal.
Day 7: Fully transition to a complete Freshly Crafted diet.

We know not all dogs have the same preferences, so we've made our food versatile to serve:  frozen (for a firmer texture!), thawed at room temperature, or gently warmed in the microwave on defrost.

Meal time is no longer a bore

"My bernedoodle absolutely loves this stuff, she can’t wait to eat it morning and night and no longer randomly grazes for food like she used to."

Taya E. (5/5)

Best Fresh Food - Dog Validated

"This is by far the best fresh dog food I have come across. I live in the country and have to buy bulk as traveling every week to the store is not always feasible. I also have four large dogs; pit mix, black lab, GSP, and Great Pyrenees. They can eat some chow each week! I had a busy schedule and decided to order online. The entire process was great from ordering to tracking to delivery to quality of the food. The packaging was also well done and the dry ice kept the contents frozen. The dogs love the food and definitely recommend Full Moon for your pack as well!"

Michael S. (5/5)

good food

"My dogs love this."

Debi N. (5/5)

Good quality but not enticing enough

"Great ingredients. Timely delivery. Might be good for some or even most dogs, but both my older dogs ate it for a day or two then turned their noses up. Unfortunately, all the packages I had to buy fur delivery, are a waste for us & I have them away."

Sheireen D. (3/5)

Great dog food

"My 3 Yorkies are in love with Full Moon. This has been our food of choice for sometime now and the packaging and delivery are awesome."

Donna P. (5/5)

Frozen beef

"100% great food dog loves it"

Kevin W. (5/5)

Our Dogs Love This

"Our dogs love it. Maybe just a bit more broccoli than they like, but normally eat it right up."

Becky F. (5/5)

They love it

"Both my fur babies love Full Moon. Both are picky eaters!"

Judy H. (5/5)

Awesome

"Awesome, very hard to find a true no chicken content dog food, but 90% of the time I need this it’s out of stock!!!!! In stores and online!"

SUSAN C. (5/5)

Picky rate

"Mina loves this on first opening the bag. She is an odd easter however, eating like she is ravenous for 2 days then barely eating a single feeding for the next couple days. The product is great, she is just an odd one. Human grade is a big plus! Wish you could order less monthly as storage is a big deal when she doesn't eat much, causing me to skip this month order."

Q&A

Hi Is this food good for dogs with pancreatitis problems?
Hi Adriana! Great question! At the moment, we don't have a food formulated specifically for pups with pancreatitis. Since we know how sensitive their bellies can be with this condition, we always highly recommend checking in with your vet first to make sure our food is perfectly safe and healthy for her!🐾❤️
HOW MUCH PROTEIN IN A SERVING? MY DOG IS 11 y/o and 10 lbs.
Hi Lyn! Thank you for your question! If feeding 1¾ cups per day, which is approximately 175 grams a day, then it would be 10% protein, or about 17.5 g of protein per day. 💛🐾
